MCRB submitted its fourth Communication on Engagement report to the UN Global Compact, showcasing the Centre’s activities to advance the ten principles between July 2020 and June 2022.

The United Nations Global Compact is a voluntary corporate sustainability initiative that encourages businesses around the world to align their operations and strategies with ten universally recognized principles in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment, and anti-corruption. Myanmar currently has 89 companies and organizations as signatories. As a participation requirement, Companies must submit an annual Communication on Progress. Non-business participants, such as MCRB, must submit a Communication on Engagement every two years.

MCRB's fourth Communication on Engagement (CoE) report describes our continuous support of the UNGC and outlines MCRB's activities that are aligned with the UNGC's ten principles with respect to human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. The report also covers the progress we have made integrating the 10 Principles into our programs and activities over the last two years (July 2020 - June 2022).
